MAYBE NOW YOU WILL LISTEN
We strongly warned you about Cherelle L. Parker, yet you voted her into the Mayor's office. Now you're paying dearly for that bad decision. We told you she would have her hands in your pockets, and boy, does she, so deep she could scratch your nether regions.
Here's a list of what she's done for you so far, and everything she's done has taken money out of your pockets.
1. She allowed the Office of Property Assessments to over-assess your property to inflate your property tax bills.
2. She's allowing legislation requiring all grocery stores, convenience shops, and other retailers in the city to charge you a 10-cent per bag fee on top of the already high city shopping tax.
3. She's proposing a $1-per-ride tax on Philadelphians who use Uber or other ride-sharing means.
Your Mayor Parker is doing all this and more at a time when Food, gas, and health care prices are at an all-time high. Can anyone out there name one single thing she's done to save you money? I didn't think so! We warned you, you didn't listen - poverty is your fate as long as Parker is Mayor!
WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE YOUR 2027 PROPERTY TAX BILL.
Speaking of voting, there is now a third political party in Philadelphia with clout. It's called the 'Working Party.' If you don't like the republican party, you now have a better choice than the greedy Democrats. It's seriously time to put an end to voting like zombies for do-nothing Democrats. Let's find and choose an 'Independent' or 'Working Party' candidate to support for the Mayor of Philadelphia.
Congratulations to Chris Rabb, who pulled off a landslide victory over Sharif Street for the 3rd congressional District. Street was endorsed by Mayor Parker. Hmmm, it seems voters have sent Parker a message: the message, we are tired of the old Democratic do-nothing ways, we want progressive Democrats to begin the progression into the future with the rest of the world, therefore we are rebuking you and those you support in the old Democratic establishment. Street can thank Parker for the ass-whooping he received at the polls.
