Since today, I will be speaking to you about racism against people of color, I decided to dress in African clothing and stones from the land of Africa. I never wear makeup; my mother taught me and my sisters that true beauty does not need false dressings like face powder, lipstick, blush, or false eyelashes. Our mother would scare us, saying lipstick is made with fat from a pig's ass. We thought she was just saying that to scare us, until we met a retired pig farmer who confirmed the cosmetology industry was one of his biggest customers. He jokingly said, "There's a lot of men out there kissing pigs' asses every day."  eww.  

 Speaking of racism, we all know the history of the white, democratic racist male and the atrocities they perpetrated on people of color until slavery was abolished. In truth, slavery was not abolished; only the physical part was abolished. In its place, the white democratic male invented many ways to put and keep people of color into financial slavery by way of debt owed.  Let me give you some examples.

   1. Mortgages - If a black man wants to own a property, he has to pay twice as much then the property is worth. You see, coming out of slavery, black men had no wealth, so if they wanted to buy a property, they had to go to a white owned bank where they were taken advantage of with outrageous rates and fees on a thirty-year mortgage. So in truth, the black male was indentured for thirty years once again to a white Massa.

                                2. If a black man wanted to buy a car, he had to go to a bank to get a loan

                                3. If a black man wanted to start a business, he had to go to a bank to get a loan.

 The sad thing is, these banks made their money/riches off of slavery and are now getting even richer off the backs of the children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc, etc, of the slave trade.

  To this very day, to own a property, black men and women still have to go to these banks and end up paying almost twice as much for the property then the asking price by the owner. It's called a mortgage, yup, the thirty-year mortgage is still here, run by banks that are modern-day white male plantation owners. Why, because their methods and policies keep black men from being able to gain any financial wealth by keeping them in debt, ie, Financial slavery!

  Speaking of racist individuals engaging in financial slavery, one tactic of racist white males is to keep black males from reaching financial wealth. Like, for instance, how the Philadelphia Office of Property Assessments intentionally overevaluated properties in poor, people of color neighborhoods, taking over four hundred million dollars of wealth out of those neighborhoods. Talk about an act of blatant racism. Who is it in the OPA who organized this blatant act, better yet, where are the elected leaders? Where are the legal authorities? Where's the NAACP, and most of all, where are the property owners who are the victims of this blatant act of racism! What's wrong with the black males in Philadelphia?
